Our story
Good to Grow started with a simple idea: gifts should bring joy long after the moment they’re given.
Our founder, Gary Rockcliffe, having spent years working with plants, seeds, and practical growing through horticulture and education, has seen first-hand how even the smallest things can have a lasting effect. Growing something, nurturing it, and watching it flourish creates a sense of connection. Not only to nature, but to people and memories too.
As a father of four daughters, he also became increasingly aware of how much waste is created through everyday gifting. So many cards and small presents are bought with love and good intentions, enjoyed briefly, then quickly forgotten. He wanted to create something different. A more thoughtful way to celebrate life’s moments while being kinder to the world we're handing on.
That idea became Good to Grow.
